Chaka Sichangi Namasaka
Chaka Sichangi Namasaka is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a certified commercial mediator, and a holder of multiple other professional certifications. His academic credentials include: an LL.M from City University of London; an MSc. in Law and Finance from SOAS – University of London; and, an LL.B from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
Previously, he has worked at the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya (CMA), where he served in the Capital Markets Master Plan (CMMP) Secretariat, where he had the opportunity to contribute to the establishment of measures to advance initiatives across market infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and economic transformation, as part of Vision 2030.
He has also worked for the State House Aggregation and Data Unit operating as part of the team under Technical Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kenya - H.E Uhuru Kenyatta. This experience further honed his ability to align policy, data-driven insights, and strategic objectives at the highest levels of government. He was subsequently appointed Assistant Director of Strategic Communication for the 2022 Raila Odinga Presidential Secretariat; an assignment that refined his ability to synthesize complex policy issues to craft messaging for a national audience.
Presently, Chaka is the Managing Partner of AL&C Partners LLP Advocates, a boutique law firm that specializes in, amongst other things: regulatory compliance and policy advisory; dispute avoidance and dispute resolution strategy; integrated development infrastructure projects; as well as legal research and analysis in disruptive emerging practice areas such as blockchain technologies, digital currencies, and artificial intelligence.

Chaka is also a Director at Felt Africa Group, a public relations and strategic communications think tank. He is also an Ag. Beyond his professional endeavors, Chaka is a committed member of the Catholic Men’s Association, aligned to the values and the vision of ‘Good Family, Good Church, Good Society’.
