Lillian Waithira – Partner |Mombasa Branch
Lillian Waithira serves as the Partner of the Firm's Mombasa Branch, where she oversees the Firm's practice across the Coast region. She is responsible for the management of the branch, client relations, and the delivery of legal services, while supporting the Firm's strategic growth and business development initiatives in the region.
Lillian has developed extensive experience in banking and finance, conveyancing, real estate, and corporate and commercial law. She regularly advises commercial banks, financial institutions, developers, corporate entities, and private clients on secured lending transactions, the structuring and perfection of securities, real estate acquisitions and disposals, and legal due diligence. She has acted in numerous financing transactions involving the preparation and registration of various security instruments and advises on complex land and banking matters.
Her practice also encompasses commercial and corporate transactions, including the incorporation and restructuring of companies, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and the drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements. Lillian has advised clients on large-scale property developments, subdivision and amalgamation of land, sectional properties, and other complex conveyancing transactions.
Lillian is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths, and a Notary Public. She is committed to providing practical, commercially sound legal advice and building lasting relationships with clients through responsive and efficient legal service.
